I am new member of the alias. I have installed SER with MySQL and did some user provisioning. Where can I get SIP softphones or IM clients that are compatible with SER.
Please adivice.

you can use kphone or linphone which are open source or you can get the Eyebeam Lite, which doesn't include G729.
If you want G729 with Eyebeam, then you can pay for the Eyebeam Pro version.
Also, Microsoft Messenger is a full SIP UA, if you like Windoz.

In that case How will I configure Microsoft Messengere to communicate with the SIP server.

MSN/Microsoft Messenger do not have SIP support. Windows Messenger does have sip support and is included with Windows XP (check under Add/Remove Programs -> Add/Remove Windows Components). After you run Windows Messenger goto Settings -> Accounts and enable the SIP service.

There is no eyeBeam lite, only eyeBeam pro. If you want their free soft-phone then you're looking for X-Lite.
