The only advice I'd give you is cookbooks .. they're brilliant source of
information. Take configuration from samples, tweak them and get some use case working
with help from RFC3261. This is the best way to learn. Personally I'm not aware about
any quick newbie howto documentation.

Hi folks,
I'm new to Kamailio, and I am looking for some documentation on how to write config
files, what should be included... etc.. I'm pretty much looking for product
documentation and tutorials, not info on SIP (already went through the sip school).
- How do I write a basic config file
- Basic auth and forward examples
I'm familiar with the cookbooks, however they don't really provide context as to
what the recommendations do.
Any resources that people could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Richard Seguin
