Hi Steven, I would like to do exactly the same thing - I don't believe SER supports it - but I also don't think a stateful UA is required. 2 parts are needed - 1. the ability to issue a REGISTER transaction, and maintain the registration 2. the ability to handle generate authentication credentials statefully forwarding requests 1. could be implemented with a FIFO 2. would require extensions to the TM module I haven't had the time to do this work, and am unlikely to be able to in the near future. I agree with your take, but after some effort agree that it seems SER can't directly support it right now, though it would seem the code changes wouldn't be too difficult. I'll try using sipsak as klaus suggested just to see if i can't get that workaround to function. however, until ser implements this I think what I am going to have to do is use asterisk as a gateway/media server, and have calls to/from the pstn routed there.
