Hi
Has anyone experienced zombie processes, when running OpenSER 1.0.0 with children enabled?
I'm unable to restart OpenSER, because of processes hanging (openser.pid), and they unvilling to accept a kill command!
Can anybody advice me on what to do to get rid of these zombie processes?
I have tried to pkill the processes in the group and also tried to kill a simgle process at the time but without any luck!
All help is greatly appreciated.
Kind regards Martin Kjeldsen
Hi Martin,
does the log provides any hints why processes turn into zombies? have you tried same cfg but using debug level to see what's going one?
regards, bogdan

Hi
I'm currently trying to reproduce the error.
So far I can eliminate the possiblity that it is during startup, since there are no problems there.
I'll try using the DBALIASES, under debug mode, since I started experincing problem when adding the use of that module.
I'll get back with further info when I have more.
Thanks for the quick reply.
