Leaving the user in the pending table is a bit ugly, but the system will probably still work. You may care to fire up the mysql command line client, and do a 'delete from pending' when you know there's no-one in the queue. Barry, You shouldn't need to delete pending users by hand. If it's not being done automatically, something's wrong. Sure SER is running and is accessing the fifo? Try this command as root: fuser -v /tmp/ser_fifo It ought to list quite a few SER processes running.
