I am doing a ds_select_dst call. I think dispatcher did run because $du gets updated
The problem is $(avp(dsattrs)) value is null.
Any ideas why?

Do you have as follows parameter?
modparam("dispatcher", "attrs_avp", "$avp(dsattrs)")
