Hello, a rather safe bet is using auth_challenge() for any SIP request that you want to authenticate. For invite it will send 407: - https://kamailio.org/docs/modules/devel/modules/auth.html#auth.f.auth_chall… It is used also in the default kamailio.cfg, so that's a good example of how to use it.
