Hi, I'm after some useful doco to allow me to setup trunks from Trixbox to Kamailio and push all calls to a sip provider. Would possibly need rtpproxy or nathelper as well. Can anyone point me in the right direction as i've been combing the web for days and unable to find anything with good explanations and basic enough for a Kamailio beginner.
Thanks, Taff.

Hi Taff,
have you already read the admin course clides on our wiki? http://www.kamailio.org/dokuwiki/doku.php (at the bottom). There is plenty of other information provided and linked there, also some tutorial on how to setup kamailio on different systems.
Apart from that, it would help us a lot when you can provide more details, as Inaki already said. For example: what are the steps you already have done in trying to setup kamailio, and where you get stuck exactly.
Cheers,
Henning

I also would add that such questions about TrixBox/any_Asterisk_webgui and Kamailio are not very "appreciated". TrixBox is just a gui for Asterisk, so we "don't know" Trixbox.

Hi Iñaki,
the original poster has some problems with the installation of kamailio, then i think its not important what type of GUI he also want to use to transfer calls to it, IMHO. If the problems are caused from some TrixBox stuff, then i agree to you, of course. :-)
Cheers,
Henning

Hi Henning, in the first post I really don't read nothing about installation of Kamailio ¿?

Hi Iñaki,
you're right. He talks about the setup, sorry my fault. Lets see what more informations he add.
Cheers,

can anybody point me to a good place for setting up freeradius with kamailio, with some good GUI so the operator can easily add/remove users ?
I noted that the radius set up instruction in the kamailio web site , and tried to follow it. I had to compile kamailio again to enable the acc module to support radius. then i got the kamailio.cfg written so that the script works. I read through the freeradius, daloRADIUS, dialup-admin's document, and after long struggle, finally got them installed, and talking to mysql db. but then I can't find much information on how to configure these software so that they can work with each other seamlessly. ideally, I would be able to use dialup-admin or daloRADIUS to create user, and then a SIP client can use the username/password to login and make calls. and daloRADIUS can report the CDR via a GUI.
all I tried to do is to avoid the manual kamctl command on the target machine because it is only reserved for experts. I don't really care what software to use. can any body point me to the right direction ?
