You need to add this directory to your path or edit the create script and add the fully qualified path name to the gen_ha1 command.

I was trying to create the SER database in MySQL. I ran the command:

ser_mysql.sh create

I entered the password and got this error message:

ser_mysql.sh: line 1: gen_ha1: command not found HA1 calculation failed

And yet the executable file gen_ha1 is present in the same folder as ser_mysql.sh
