You'll need to be a little more specific. I understand you may not know a lot about SER (or SIP for that matter), but what do you mean you can't login? Are you trying to register? Are you trying to add users to the usrloc (user location) database? It sounds like it's not even running? Please post your ser.cfg .. You can run 'ser -dddd' to get debug info, it may log to /var/log/messages or to the screen you run it on. If you see something like "signal 15" then it's most likely a config file problem or a failure when it tries to load.
