I believe what you are after is some sort of pre-packaged solution with a
GUI interface which integrates both OpenSER and Asterisk, as I am not sure
you will find a distribution which will install and configure them together
as separate entities on the same box.
There may well be proprietary solutions out there, but probably not for
free.
*PortaOne (PortaBilling)* is one such example, which I believe uses (or used
to use) source code from Asterisk and SER 0.9.x last I checked.

Why do you say that isnt desirable?
It could be an interesting distribution for an University with thousands
of users, that would allow them to easily implement a SIP domain (with
OpenSER) and also a PBX / Gateway (with Asterisk).
