ser did a major database structure change for v2.0, so many things are different now than 0.9.x in ser modules.

You can use modules_k/ version without any problem - combining modules from modules_k and modules_s is safe, the only restriction is inter-module dependency (e.g., if you use registrar from modules_s you have to use usrloc from same directory).
