Just wondering, if party A dial to party B, it takes 3 seconds to hear the first ring. Is it normal or it's too long?
Regards,
Chia
I think that's pretty good, that's about what mine is at to the pstn. Sometimes up to 5 seconds if our ata syle adapter is still waiting for a timeout on digits from the analog phone, but I'm trying to work on this. my sip to sip calls are ~1 second.

It all depends on your network, context, what you do in ser.cfg, whether you use sql or radius, etc... g-) ---- Original Message ---- From: Chia Huey Lim To: serusers@lists.iptel.org Sent: Monday, June 27, 2005 05:55 AM Subject: [Serusers] 3 seconds to connect?
