Which version do you use?
Does it work at all with current version of openser (1.3)?

IMHO it would be better as separate package, leaving OpenSer "core"
installation cleaner.

i think we can close the poll now.. Most people don't seem to care or don't
use SERWEB at all.
I guess its ok to remove this stuff from the server for 1.4. Would do you like
to do the change?

we some delay, but I'm for removing serweb stuff from openser. But I
still suggest to keep a DB patch on the wiki or something, for people
really interested in this...

I do not care for serweb too. Thus IMO it is fine to remove it for 1.4.
Henning, I would prefer if you would remove it (you know the DB scripts
best)
regarding patch: I think we should add a note that serweb was removed
from 1.4 and if someone still wants to use it, they should get the DB
definitions from 1.3 release.

all SERWEB specific functionality has been removed. The last revision that
contains this extensions in the trunk is '3703' and of course the 1.3 branch.

Are there any major points, hints or requirements to follow?

But this targets only administrative tasks, it don't tries to be an interface
for customer access. There exists probably some other work, but they are not
public available at the moment/ at all.
Requirements, well.. The project should use the database scheme of version
1.4, actually in development. Hints: Database documentation is available on
the project wiki. Database schemes are defined with the XML files in
db/schema.

necessary maturity for launch).

It uses xml-rpc to interact with openser (statistics, commands for data
reload eg. domains, trusted_ips and so on) plus mysql backend for data
storage.
If you need any guidance, tips, do not hesitate to contact me.

Also, please tell me if serweb works with OpenSER version 1.3 or not. I have
tried a lot to configure it with this version but I always see a blank page
when i start serweb from the browser.
Please let me know if anybody is using serweb and OpenSER.

I think you have to use a rather old version of serweb, not the current
one. Maybe rel_0_9_2 ?
