I'm trying to setup latest Siremis from GIT and stuck on DB stage.
ERROR: SQLSTATE[08006] [7] FATAL: password authentication failed for user "www-data" FATAL: password authentication failed for user "www-data"
Why installer tries to use web server user instead of supplied? DB is PGSQL at localhost. Kam DB created successfully via kamdbctl.

When did you get that error?
I have recently installed on Debian 8 without any use. Use GIT version solves some problems.

we used it only with mysql and apache. I remember that at some point there was a patch merged that targeted use with postgress. Anyhow, if you find some bits that need to be adjusted, the patches will be accepted.
If you look inside the Config.xml, what are the db user and db password values there? Are they for www-data or your configured user via gui?

Install script offers support for postgres (along w/Oracle and MS SQL) but not if it's working or not. Config.xml is from Dec 21 2015 and not updated by install so it contains default users siremis and kamailio
btw Following docs webserver have no rights to write into Config.xml After fixing access nothing changes.
