In fact., openser (or kamailio) init-script is in a rather good shape. I applied only this (mostly cosmetic) patch to init-script from openser's tarball:

Hi Peter,
did i understand you correctly that the init script in our tree is ok, and no of the changes you did in the quoted link are strictly necessary? Do you think they should be included anyway?
