I have realised that since I changed to BST on all my servers (using NTP to keep in sync) the time stored for acc requests has not changed, it is still one hour behind.

Same for me. acc's time and my system's has a difference of 4 hrs. can someone help on this?

If you prefer to use the server's local time then modify the following:
acc module: edit acc_mod.c at modules/acc/ Edit the line, int db_localtime = 0, and change it to 1;
