I am new to SER. I'd like to modify some of the sip headers like 'uri' and 'from' header to remove +1 prefix from the phone number. What I want to do is to change +15042339988@3.2.4.3 to 5042339988@3.2.4.3

Hi,
strip(2) will cut the 2 first characters of username URI.
You'll find all manipulation of URI function in the section 6.2 of the Admin's Guide
