hello I need to load into memory a list of ip address associated with an index: ex: index, IP 1, 192.168.1.1 2. 192.168.1.2 3, 192.168.1.3 ......... ......... n, 192.168.1.n then at some point in the config I will call the variable, passing the index as argument and retrieving the IP as result can I do it with the avp module? cheers jp

Yes, You Can! :-) But actually, as AVPs are related to a transaction. Thus, as I think you want to use this variables in a global context you should take a look at shared variables, which can also be changed over the MI interface during runtime: http://www.kamailio.org/dokuwiki/doku.php/pseudovariables:devel#shared_vari… Further, the htables module can be interesting too: http://www.kamailio.org/docs/modules/1.5.x/htable regards klaus Juan Perez schrieb:

thank you a lot Klaus, I forgot to mention that I am using version 1.4.3, so htables is not available for me.
