Hi, many phones as Thomson S2030 or Grandstream 3000 allow presence BLF.
Unfortunatelly I think BLF (Busy Lamp Field) just works with Asterisk and it's
not a RFC or a draft.
Thomson S2030 allow subscribing to a extension state and it generates this

Is there any possibility to use this BLF feature with OpenSer in any way?

There is a module in development which implements BLA/BLF in OpenSER and supposedly works
with Polycom phones. Given the lack of a standard I suspect you'd have to adjust your
configuration to accept different event types from different phones to make them work with
this module. We are just beginning to work with this module. I'll post more
information about our experience as we learn more.

Maybe you mean the pua_bla module existing in OpenSer 1.3?

That is the module to which I was referring. We just started our work so I cannot say
how/if BLF works. BLF works on Polycom phones so I'm assuming this module enables
processing of subscribe/notify messages with appropriate event types to enabled BLF. I
haven't tried it.

BLF works too with Thomson S2030 and some Grandstream.
The Event type is just "dialog".

We are running pua_bla in production with Polycom phones. BLA and BLF
are basically the same term. The protocol used is based on a draft RFC
(draft-anil-sipping-bla which is now in the BLISS IETF group).

Hum, how can be both BLA and BLF basically the same?
In BLA is needed a subscriber-phone sending a REGISTER with "To:other-user",
a SUBSCRIBE from "other-user" and from "subscriber-phone"... while in
BLF is
just needed a SUBSCRIBE "To: other-user" with "Event: dialog".
Have you debugged what kind of REGISTER's and SUBSCRIBER's send you Polycom
with your pua_bla module?
