Hi,
When I added an alias, it expired right away. I searched the archieve, it was supposed to be a bug a while ago and fixed. I am using a cvs version downloaded a couple weeks ago.

[root@www]# serctl alias add 060 111@test.com 200 Added to table ('060@test.org','111@test.com') to 'aliases' [root@www]# serctl alias show 060 1111@test.com;q=1.00;expires=-10
In serctl, it uses the following command to add alias, fifo_cmd ul_add "$USRLOC_TABLE" "$SERUSER@$SERDOMAIN" "$2" "0" "1.00" "0" "128"

Eh... Never mind... Actually the expiration doesn't prevent it from working...

In unstable a special flag is used to mark "permanent" aliases. Do you encounter any problems with that ?

It works. Looks like the flag makes system ignore the expire date.
