Dear all,
I have installed Kamailio and Rtpproxy. Following is the process (ps) info:
"kamailio 648 1 0 Oct08 ? 00:00:05 /usr/bin/rtpproxy -s udp:127.0.0.1 7722 -u kamailio kamailio -p /var/run/rtpproxy/rtpproxy.pid -l 192.168.58.25"
But when I give command: " kamctl mi nh_show_rtpp" it returns following:
"500 command 'nh_show_rtpp' not available"
What could be the problem?

I don't know if it's related, but we noticed that master and 4.3 failed out meta testsuite today:
https://travis-ci.org/sippy/voiptests/builds/85453186

The last change to rtpproxy module is much older than 2 months ago. Can you detail more about what the test does and what was failing?

Ah, sorry, it was false alarm on my side. The test started failing due to new requirement to have "run_target" directory writeable by the kamailio process and that dir defaults into somewhere in /usr/local. We are not bothering to do "install" target, all tests run as unprivileged user. I don't think there is a way to override this directory in the runtime (bad idea, IMHO, since kamailio is not suid or anything like that), so I've resorted to adding a build-time hack to redirect that into /tmp/kamailio.
It would be nice to have an option to point that into some other directory.

I guess you refer to the runtime directory which now defaults to /var/run/kamailio (due to a security report from debian project, previously being /tmp, which was considered a risk being writable by anyone).
If yes, then you should be able to change the path via rundir global parameter.
