Dear all
we have a server setup with 2 ethernets, we use mhome=1 and wanted to send the message back to which ethernet it comes in, but doesn't seem to work. Did we misunderstood the mhome command? or just a configuration issue?
thanks
Ray
Hi Ray,
mhomed affects the selection of the outgoing socket for forwarding requests.
with no mhomed, the incoming socket will be used or the first one for a different protocol, disregarding the destination location.
with mhomed, openser will select a socket that can reach the destination (to be able to connect to the remote address).
regards, bogdan
