that´s a very nice idea but i wouldn´t try that for more than 1000 users with pbx´s and differnt lenghts of phone numbers.

isn´t there any other possibilty?

You can do something like this :

if ( (uri=~"^sip:12345[0-9]*@.*")) {

strip(5);

dont use SER, place all calls into asterisk and let it deal with the extensions Iqbal
