If I have multiple SER servers, should they each have their own database, or can they all share the same database? They're all going to be for the same purpose and will have the exact same subscriber, alias, etc information.

What's use case for this? If they are all on the same server, why not only use one instance? If they are on different servers, why do you want to have one database? You will probably get problems with NATed clients. Your best bet would be to have a look at the usrloc-cl module in the experimental module in cvs. g-)
