Hello serusers,
I'm trying to map usage of SER in educational organizations. Please, let me know if you are aware of any.
Thanks,

Hello,
We use SER to connect the PBXs of the institutions of higher education, some libraries and research centers with each other in Hungary. At least 25 PBXs are connected to the network with isdn/sip gateways. We also have agreement with service providers to make "outbound" calls for lower prices.

We have made a project with a spanish university using SER. It liked them and they are now using it to research about SIP and VoIP.
The university is http://www.salleurl.edu . Let me know if you need some contact person there.

Hello Jiri,
I have started a training course at "Fachhochschule Technikum Wien" (http://www.technikum-wien.at/) on advanced telecommunications technology. I started in September (winter-semester) with basic lectures in SIP and SIP service development and I will continue practically in December installing SER, different clients and a gateway to cover practical experience.
If things go well, I intend to continue next year (summer-semester) with more subtle SIP themes (beyond the basics) and more programming.

I am in Rwanda (that is in Africa). [A poor country!!] As the Government is trying to equip all the secondary schools with Internet Connected computers, we are waiting for better Internet Connections to be availbale in order to set up a National VoIP network for schools intercommunication needs. We are planning to use SER for this.
I will tell you more when we start implementing the system.
Thanks Emery ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jiri Kuthan" jiri@iptel.org To: serusers@lists.iptel.org Sent: Tuesday, October 21, 2003 15:24 Subject: [Serusers] Use of SER in Educational Organizations
