Hi guys! We have started a documentation effort for 0.10 to document what has been changed and what is now in the upcoming release. http://www.iptel.org/ser/doc/010whatsnew
There is already quite some content there, but it is by no means finished.
If you have experiences with 0.10 (current CVS head), please feel free to add your experiences where appropriate (if you create a new page, use Book as type and find What's new in the Parent dialog).
All: Add comments if there are some things you would like to have documented.
Regardless of which version of SER you are using or planning to use, I believe this document will be of interest to you: http://www.iptel.org/ser/howtos/optimizing_the_use_of_rtp_proxy g-)

Hi Greger!
Great document. I have a question regarding the AVPs. I guess $t. and $f. will be automatically restored in in-dialog requests (as the dialog-cookie is set).
How will they be set according the direction - e.g. a reINVITE from the callee to the caller. Is $f. still the AVP from the caller or is it the AVP from the callee (as From and To are changed)? If these are not changed automatically there must be a direction detection mechanism to fix_nated_contact only for the proper clients.
Further, I miss the content of the in-dialog route - how the mangle routes are called for in-dialog requests?
regards klaus

rr module will swap $f and $t avps being restored if necessary. Thus it is always associated with the right party.

I guess this is a question for Lada, the author of the document, who is now on vacation.

Hi, I have attached the configuration script at
http://www.iptel.org/ser/howtos/optimizing_the_use_of_rtp_proxy
and have updated the document with numbered config script.
The document has some unclear text and missing explanations. I will fix it in next revisions. Give me any feedback if you don't understand anything.
Lada
