Hi,
I notice Siremis is not usable for me as it is very limited in the user management
interface.
I will suggest the developpers to include a USER management GUI visual interfase, as
nowadays i use command line to do the following by putty tool:
a) "Create Users"
kamctl add <user> <password>
b) "Delete Users"
kamctl rm <user>
c) "Show users in database"
kamctl db show subscriber
d) "Show online users"
kamctl online
Adding this on Siremis will help a lot for daily use as a Manager Account.
Someone knows the Siremis author to add this suggestion?
or someone has already coded a VISUAL GUI interfase for the above and could share it?

Yes, but it will be great to expand it not just to ADD only , also to list active ones in
realtime, delete ones, etc.
So we replace kamctl command line. Mainly for full Users Management.
Siremis has many options not so important for daily use, thats why maybe someone develop
an easy GUI only for Management users.
It will be appreciate it by almost ALL kamailio users.
I saw on internet some approach using Ruby on Rails with external vps servers to
interconnect, but i prefer to work in conjunction with kamailio in same server.

I haven't played with the newest version, but these features existed in
the past... you can edit, delete, etc.
Personally, I don't use the GUI that much, but this being said, I do
find that it's a great way for someone to manage Kamailio needs without
having to be comfortable with the cli.
It is an open source project on github, so there's an opportunity for
anyone to add any features or customizations they feel would enhance the
software.
This being said, please make sure the features you're speaking of truly
aren't there-- they have been in previous versions.

You can add/change/remove users in siremis. Go to "sip menu" on the top
right.

for sure the management of SIP users in possible via Siremis, I think it
was first feature available there. As the others pointed here, see the SIP
Admin panel, via the link at upper right side of the main view.
If you get troubles with that, describe with more details what you tried.

installation.

It will be great to make Siremis more user friendly for daily use, as nowadays it has very
few interested features.
I need mainly a professional "User Management Tool" to : Add users, delete
users, LIST active users on server and show all credentials.
Also somehow to interact with it by PHP curl or json, so for example we could add a user
from an android application directly on Kamailio server by a command or http-post.
Unfortunately, Siremis is not used by most kamailio users, but with my suggestions it
could be improved.

Hello,
there are couple of dozen options out there to download a file from a web
site. I don't find that as being the real missing part of the installation
tutorial. If one cannot figure out how to download a file, I guess it is
not expected to get as far as having Linux installed in first place.
On the other hand, if you want to write a better installation tutorial, you
are more than welcome. Write it in markdown format and make a pull request
to project's github portal - github.com/asipto/siremis - and it will be
incorporated.
Regarding the user management - it seems that you haven't read my email as
well as the other ones you got from the people on the mailing list. You
already have there adding/updating/removing subscribers as well as seeing
who is registered. Read again all the answers, we provided the relevant
hints.
For JSON API offered by Siremis, it was not a priority as other apps can
just write directly to database tables, as siremis does. If someone wants
to contribute such feature, it will be accepted.
