When a call comes in with a SIP header: "Proxy-Require: privacy" line kamailio throws this error:
Aug 21 14:27:57 load1 /usr/sbin/kamailio[29447]: ERROR: <core> [parser/hf.c:224]: dump_hdr_field(): DEBUG: dump_hdr_field: type=18, name=Proxy-Require, body=privacy, parsed=(nil), next=0x7efc42f15150 Aug 21 14:27:57 load1 /usr/sbin/kamailio[29446]: ERROR: <core> [parser/hf.c:224]: dump_hdr_field(): DEBUG: dump_hdr_field: type=18, name=Proxy-Require, body=privacy, parsed=(nil), next=0x7efc42f0a7b0 Aug 21 14:27:58 load1 /usr/sbin/kamailio[29447]: ERROR: <core> [parser/hf.c:224]: dump_hdr_field(): DEBUG: dump_hdr_field: type=18, name=Proxy-Require, body=privacy, parsed=(nil), next=0x7efc42f13180 Aug 21 14:27:58 load1 /usr/sbin/kamailio[29446]: ERROR: <core> [parser/hf.c:224]: dump_hdr_field(): DEBUG: dump_hdr_field: type=18, name=Proxy-Require, body=privacy, parsed=(nil), next=0x7efc42f0dfb8
Anyone know why that happens or how to fix it?
Hello,
checked the code and the messages are printed only for debugging purposes, but using ERROR log level. You can just ignore them, are harmless.
I pushed a patch to master branch not to print them, it will be backported.

Well I can't ignore them, the call fails too, it returns: SIP/2.0 420 Bad Extension

This is not related to log messages -- see the parameter:
http://kamailio.org/docs/modules/stable/modules/sanity.html#sanity.p.proxy_r...
You can remove the check for proxy-require header from sanity_check() parameter as well.

I just upgraded from kamailio-4.3.1-1.1.x86_64 to kamailio-4.3.2-2.1.x86_64 and now when I hang up the called party the calling party line stays open and I get this in the log: ERROR: rr [loose.c:106]: find_first_route(): failed to parse Route HF
On the back end asterisk server the call stays active. Which is throwing off my CDRs as well.
Also the repo no longer has the kamailio-4.3.1-1.1.x86_64 rpms so I can not downgrade back to a known working version. Is there a old version repo somewhere so I can get back to a working copy?

Hello,
there was not change in record route parsing or processing between 4.3.1 and 4.3.2.
Do you get this all the time? Or it happens only sporadically? Can you capture the sip traffic for such situation (e.g., using: ngrep -d any -qt -W byline port 5060)?
Cheers, Daniel
