touch /tmp/ser_fifo; chown ser:ser /tmp/ser_fifo don't
work.
I need help to fix /etc/init.d/ser in order to create
/tmp/ser_fifo.
I try !!

To make a fifo, you need to use 'mkfifo /tmp/ser_fifo', rather than
'touch /tmp/ser_fifo'.
However, if this failed, you may still have other problems with your
installation.
