The service-type is set by the sender of the accounting packet. I'm not aware of such a service-type in ser. g-)

Hello Greger,
First of all apologies for just sending you my question, as I missed to click on reply all.
Now I solved the problem I was having
modparam("acc", "service_type", 16)
this line in my ser.cfg which was generating acc packets with IAPP-AP-Check.
When I changed service_type to 15, it gives me Sip-Session.
But in acc docs it has been mentioned to setup it 16 with radius, and default is 15, which I didn’t understand. Why do I needs to setup it 16?
Thanks
Lokesh

You need to configure it to the same value that your radius server understands. It does not really matter if you use 15 or 16 as long as your radius server is configured to use the same value. So make sure that you have same dictionary in the client and in the server.

When a RADIUS client sends a request, it will just send the integer value, not the actual service-type. The service-type the integer is mapped to is defined BOTH on the client side and on the server-side. The RADIUS server will look up the integer value in its attribute-list (dictionary). If you use a tool for looking at the actual packets, that tool either shows integer value or needs its own dictionary to translate. The nice thing is that mostly these attribute integer values are standardized (however, with vendor-specific sub-categories). g-)
