Hi there!
I was able to install ser 0.8.14 on my debian box and make a call. However, I can hear echo every time I speak. Is there something missing with my config that can filter / stop this problem.
Another, mysql authentication is not working though my config file is ok as reported during compilation. Can somebody help me in building a simple ser config file that use mysql to authenticate user.
thanks in advance.

Hi Edgardo,
As SER handles only the signalling part, it does not affect the media (and it's quality). Media goes end-to-end (directly between phones), so it's subject to their capabilities/performances. Exception makes when you are using a media relay (like RTPProxy or MediaProxy) - but this is unlikely introduce echo.
Best regards, Marian
