Daniel, Yes the windows messenger (5.0) that i am using supports SIP. So now how do i go about it. I did configure the messenger to include SIP address. I want to check this user record on the server. How do i do that? Should i send my ser.cfg to you just to check my settings. Please let me know if it is feasible.
Thanks, Annie
I haven't used Windows Messenger 5.0 yet. To see all registered users to SER you can use 'serctl ul show'. If you don't see the user record in the list then the registration failed. Please check using ngrep or ethereal if SER receives the REGISTER requests from WM. Also, you can see that if you run SER in debug mode, with a high debug level (7).
If SER receives the REGISTERs but the registration fails then send us the config file, the network dumps and log messages. If the mail is too large send it to serteam@iptel.org, serusers mailing list has size limitation.
Regards, }Daniel
