Hi all,
I'm using Windows Messenger 5.0 as SIP communication to send IM between clients.
It has successfully log into SER server I've built. But when another client log in,
the icon on messenger doesn't change to online.I try to send IM but It failed, but
when I call using x-lite, it works.
What's the problem. Please help!!

Windows Messenger is not behaving according to SIP standard, when you
send instant messages. All you can do with it is have an audio/video
session + presence, but IM would not work. You should switch to
another client, if you must use IM.

I don't remember which version of WinMsg has which feature/bug, but for
some of them (it was probably 4.x version) you need to set HONOR_MADDR
when compiling ser to get them working.
Switch to another client is the easiest way. ;-)

I tried to use Windows Messenger 4.7 and 5.1 and both have worked I
think (messaging and presence, you need to set -DHONOR_MADDR compilation
flag as Michal wrote).
For messaging is needed to set something in registry (a policy flag or
something like that - it was in this list some time ago) otherwise incomming
messages are not shown to user...
