Hi, OpenSer by default creates a Via with no port (if port is 5060):
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 88.99.3.10;branch=z9hG4bK87ab.47b6f072.0
Because problems in my carrier's softswitch SIP stack I want top Via contains
also the port 5060.
AFAIK I can force that port appears by using:
advertised_port=5060
but it sets a fixed value (and in a future I want to listen also in 5061 for
TLS and so).
Is possible OpenSer to add the **real** source port to the top Via created by
it?

Hi Iñaki,
First of all requiring a port in VIA breaks the RFC - if no port is set,
the default 5060 is assumed.
Secondly, you cannot (by cfg) to change the added VIA, as you do not
have access to it - it will be computed only when the message is sent
out, based on selected interface.
Bottom line, without hacking the code is not possible.

Sure Bodgan, but it seems that Nortel hasn't read the RFC properly ;)

Yes, but in fact I don't want to change it, I just want that the real source
port appears even if it's the SIp default port 5060.
Bottom line, without hacking the code is not possible.
Ok, so I'll use "advertised_port=5060" temporaly for testing purposes.
