Hello,
just for sake of completion -- openser 1.1.0 notls is included in official Debian distributions: testing and unstable. You can check with:
apt-get update apt-cache search openser
It is recommended to use these packages since they meet better the latest Debian environment and dependencies, being maintained by an official Debian packager.
