hello everybody,
i have some problem regarding the integratoion b/w open
diameter and openser for clients authorization.
i have recently installed openser and opendiameter as needed.both
are working fine independently.but for the integration i need
somebodies kind help.i have run all the sample examples of both.
even my softphone[xlite]is doing fine with openser.can
anybody please tell me how can i configure the openser.cfg to support
diameter?
please also sujjest me regarding avp's creation for the
diameter+openser support.

The diameter implementation in openser is old and outdated.
You will need to add new functionality to the diameter module to make
it work with opendiameter.

Hi Ovidiu,
does this means that the openser diameter stuff in ACC is not usable at all?
Do you can perhaps give more informations about the problems, the necessary
extensions? I think it would make sense to add some notes about this to the
documentation of the module..

Hi,
diameter support was developed for DISC (DIameter Server Client project
at http://developer.berlios.de/projects/disc/). This project seems to be
no longer maintained and DIAMETER specifications were updated in the
meantime. Thus I believe the implementation in OpenSER is obsolete and
needs rework to be usable with opendiameter. I will add such note to ACC
and AUTH_DIAMETER modules.
