Are you using ser from a binary package ? I suppose so because the modules are in /usr/lib/ser. In this case you will have to install an older version of radiusclient library.

Note that radiusclient 0.4.1 can be used only with the unstable version of ser (it is a version enhanced by Maxim). Binary packages of the old version can be found on http://rpmfind.net (if you have a redhat based distribution).

Ser can't locate the reference for libradiusclient.so.0 since ldconfig won't process the link libradius.so.0. Any ideas of getting around this. I checked the man pages for ldconfig, and it states it does not process symbolic links: "ldconfig ignores symbolic links when scanning for libraries."
