Hi,
I used two IM (SIMPLE based) clients to communicate through SER. However, I could only see clients kept sending MESSAGE to SER but SER never forwarded them to the peer.
I was not using msilo. I am not sure if that's the cause that SER didn't forward to the other end. Or, do I need any special configuration in ser.cfg, or any different version of SER? I was using ser-0.9.6.
Thanks in advance!
Ling
Hi,
msilo module is used for reliable delivery in case when someone is offline. There has to be something wrong in Your ser.cfg. Any way I would switch to ser2.0 much more powerful!:)

Hi Tomasz,
Thanks for replying. It looks like I am having a NAT issue? Sometimes it works in one way, and sometimes cannot reach the peer. Will it matter for communicating IM between two NATed peers? I know we have to use some NAT helper or rtpproxy to solve the NAT traversal for voice/video. How about the IM?
Thanks, Ling
