Hi Martin,
It is possible to use OpenSER + RTProxy as a small Session Border Controller.
However, the RTP Proxy does _not_ signal to the SIP Proxy, if a RTP
Session timeouts.
On RTP Session timeout, the RTP Proxy will clean up the session by itself.
There's no mechanism in OpenSER to terminate a call. There is a patch
in the tracker that will add this ability to OpenSER. You can use the
sst module to enforce periodic reINVITES between the two parties.

I want to pass ALL calls to an extra OpenSER+RTPProxy, so ALL calls use
RTP Sessions via RTPProxy. Can the RTP Proxy signal to the SIP Proxy, if a
RTP Session timeouts, so the SIP Proxy can signal a BYE to both legs of
the call?
I need something like this, to not account timeouted calls. For example
broken calls, which never end.
any other ideas? professional session border controllers are very very
very expensive.
