Maybe its because I havent had lunch....but still confused :)...so bear with me, I'm usually far more alert than this Basically its a names to number map, just like a normal telephone directory where companies get assigned numbers, which they change and you search by company name. If the UAC was to get the number, that facility would need to be built into the UAC, but SIp does allow you to locate the person on other proxies if the call cannot be answered by you. Grigory, I think what you are asking is the feature primarily implemented in the phones. For example, some phones allow central configuration via bootp or http protocols (i.e. Cisco, Pingtel). They can connect to a central administration server and provision themselves by grabbing config file from the server based on MAC address and/or other params. The config file may contain directory entries for phones (i.e. company directory, etc). I don't believe SER will help you with this. What you are asking is a feature of the phone itself. SER does not directly provide such feature. However, you can setup serweb and have user login to the web base frontend. It has directory listing as well as click to dial feature, which is close to what you are asking.
