Can anybody indicate whether SER runs under daemontools? See:
http://cr.yp.to/daemontools.html. This will allow SER to be restarted
automatically in case it crashes.

Hello,
we haven't tried but it definitely should be possible. We use monit for
restarting ser (you can find it on http://freshmeat.net).
