yes, FIFO compatibility is maintained.

AFAIK the db structure has changed in openser, thus this need to be changed in serweb too.

yes indeed, there were some DB changes, but nothing to break serweb - maybe in the admin, User Preferences part will be some incompatibilities due the AVP table.

So generally shouldn't be any problem, but fine changes might be required.
