thanks for your response
as i see the command refreshWatchers was added to RPC in 5.0.x (so i guess
won't be available.in 4.4.7 unless it was backported)
https://www.kamailio.org/wiki/features/new-in-5.0.x
seems as a strong reason to migrate to 5
0.x :-)

Hello,
MI has been deprecated for long time and the mi_xyz modules were removed
since v5.0. Investing in mi_datagram is rather waste of resources.
Look at jsonrpcs module (jsonrpc-s in 4.4, iirc) -- it should support ipv6
(at least in the latest kamailio versions). The alternative: the module
allows to execute any RPC command from kamailio cfg, so you can send some
sip request (e.g., OPTIONS with sipsak) to trigger the jsonrpc_exec().
Cheers,
Daniel

hi
i would need to replicate behaviour of refresh watchers command at
mi_datagram module in an ipv6 system. but in such system i am not able to
bind this module in an iov6 address desoite its doc claims is possible
https://kamailio.org/docs/modules/4.4.x/modules/presence.html#idp21723212
hence not sure i will be able to use mi_datagram using ipv6 address
unless some user tells me he/shr could do succesfully
as module is quite old question is:
h¥w could i force kamailio to notify watchers of a subscriber in some
other way from an external application? any hints?
thanks
