Hi,
I tried to use the "dbtext" and "pa" modules included in SER
0.8.11pre29 package. However, I can not figure out the correct
configuration to make them work.
Is there any configuration examples for using those modules?
Thanks,
Kevin
Hello
i've installed ser-0.8.11pre29-1.i386.rpm and mysql support. I've started
ser service, but when i use serctl command to add new user this is the
response:
ERROR 1054 at line 1: Unknown column 'user_id' in 'where clause'
ERROR 1054 at line 1: Unknown column 'user_id' in 'field list'
introducing a new user to the database failed
why? I think that the configuration file ser.cfg is ok.
thanks to all.

Side question...
I've got xten lite running on a Dell Axim, and the screen indicates it
has logged in to the defined server. However, since the xten image
consumes the entire screen, I can't access the Axim keyboard to enter a
sip address. (Just purchased the Axim). Anyone know how to bring up the
keyboard in order to enter the sip address?

Hello,
I think the point ist that you use the IP of your proxy as the realm
instead of your domain in X-Lite. You can see it in the call-ID in your
messages:
--------------------
SEND >> 192.168.1.2:5060
REGISTER sip:192.168.1.2 SIP/2.0
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 192.168.1.203:5060
From: <sip:1000@192.168.1.2>
To: <sip:1000@192.168.1.2>
Contact: "JesusR" <sip:1000@192.168.1.203:5060>
Call-ID: 854E48C84C104A5DB92CE4A65ABC2406(a)192.168.1.2
CSeq: 31483 REGISTER
Expires: 500
User-Agent: X-Lite build 1016
Content-Length: 0
-----------------------
Notice the call-id is xxxx(a)192.168.1.2 but not xxxx(a)voztelecom.net.
However,
in the 401-challenge which you received the realm is "voztelecom.net":
----------
WWW-Authenticate: Digest
algorithm=MD5,nonce="3f1c562000000000dded3e97ed7f89d3722ff12d3704a884",realm
="voztelecom.net"
-------------
I think you should change your realm in X-Lite from 192.168.1.2 to
voztelecom.net and everything will be ok. Otherwise, the X-Lite will treat
the 401 response as an illegal challenge and won't send back his
credential.
Best regards

Hi,
I am testing SER version 0.8.11pre29 with two MSN Messenger(v4.6) clients.
I tried to send the following MESSAGE through SER with record-route header
added
by SER. However, the receiving MSN client responded with a 400 Bad Request
for that
message.

I noticed that there is a "ftag" parameter in the Record-Route header, but I
can't
find any definition for it from rfc3261. Is that a new parameter defined in
somewhere?
I was just wondering that it is the reason why MSN client was complaining
about
that message?

Kevin
