[Serusers] newly added aliases get expire time in the past?

Hi, I'm trying to add a numeric alias, but they get a expire value of 1902-04-15 00:22:32 and subsequently get dropped from the database. Why is this happening? Also, what value should be in the expire field for permanent aliases and accounts? and what is the appropriate way to set these values? I suspect doing it directly on the database would be no good if ser is running? Thanks, -Jev

I replicate the problem with following steps, 1. set ser.cfg without authentication. 2. open eStara SoftPHONE, input login name with Asia Characters, and login. From the packet, we know that, in the REGISTER message, the SotwPHONE does not change the characters to UTF-8. 3. SER has no response to this REGISTER, 4. change SoftPHONE's username back to US ASCII characters, SER still has no response to REGISTERs. 5. restart SER and repeat step 4, SoftPHONE can login. [Serusers] Incoming pstn call

my problem now is that the "Call ID" is the Cisco PSTN gateway ip address, when a PSTN incoming call arrive. It's in the FROM SIP header. It look "logical" because the requestor is the Cisco Gateway. How could i "hide" this to soft phone users so they can only see ser domain event for incoming pstn call ? --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. [Serusers] IPv6 to PSTN setup

Hi, I've been playing with the following setup: ipv6 ua --- ser (v6) --- msp gateway --- ser (v4) --- cisco 3640 pstn gateway --- cisco ip-phone Everything works fine with the IP phone but routing the call to the PSTN gateway causes it to return a 400 Malformed/Missing Request in response to the packet forwarded to it from the ser(v4) If i use the ip-phone to make a call via the pstn gateway (i.e. involving only the V4 SER) everything is fine. This makes me believe that the most likely cause of the crash is that the PSTN gateway can not understand the IPv6 address in the Via: or Record_Route: header fields (see packets below). It seems that a solution is to remove the entries with the IPv6 addresses at some point before sending the packet to the PSTN. Obviously, this information should be inserted back before the reply is forwarded to the entity initiating the call. Where do people think is the best place to do that ? SER or the MSP gateway ? [Serusers] DNS SRV support in CPLEd

Hi, Is it possible to have DNS SRV support in CPLEd? For example, when I upload 555(a)test.com, it looks for the IP address of host name "test.com".
