Hello all,
I am using latest CVS head (friday 23) of ser and serweb.
I am having problems with adding users using the serctl
export SIP_DOMAIN=212.x.x.x
serctl add 200 test test(a)nobody.net
I always get the following error:
error: overlap with an existing alias
I have tried alle types of names als with someone(a)212.x.x.x
Any ideas ?
I also ran into a problem trying to add users with serweb (see email on 400 ul_add)
thanks,
Arne.
I want to compare between clients IP's (in order to decide whether to
use a RTP proxy on this call or not).
I thought of marking with flags different IP classes (192, 168, etc.)
But still I don't know how to get the flag/IP of the contacted side.
Any ideas?
Shi Hoch
Hello,
Can anyone tell me why my softphone cannot login to the SER?
You can see that the user 84000 is created in the mysql database (sql.txt.)
WE've also turned on all the necessary auth_db lines in the ser.cfg
Also attached is the ngrep capture of the register, 404 fail, register w/ digest, and 404 fail again... (notworking.txt).
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Dave
you get me wrong. The original problem was that you were trying to fwd
the call using the user@host, call that will hit again your server and
trigger again cpl execution. The idea is to fwd the call directly to
user avoiding going through your server again. Solution? in the original
script, replace location with lookup node

yes, you are correct - this feature is not supported by TM at all so,
neither by cpl-c

Hello,
to use this
modparam ("acc", "db_url", "sql://ser:heslo@localhost/ser")
you need to add mysql support to the acc.so module
go to the file ser-0.8.12/modules/acc/Makefile
uncoment the line
DEFS+=-DSQL_ACC
and recompile the module
regards,

Is it possible to determine UA's private IP/port
residing behind firewall in SER's config file? Is
src_ip applicable in this situation?

In sql.txt, 8400's domain is p3t1.zone1.sip and yet he log's on as 8400(a)zone1.sip
Try updating the domain of 8400 in mysql to zone1.sip.
Not sure if this will work. But give it a try. Your config file looks ok to me.

Subject: [Serusers] softphone is failing to authenticate when login into
SER
Hello,
Sorry to create thread. I'm new to using this board...
Anyways, just wanted to see if anyone has an answer for us, cuz it's really a very simple issue. We think that it's probably something really simple, but we are too near-sighted to see it. :)
The problem again is that the softphone cannot login to the SER?
You can see that the user 84000 is created in the mysql database (sql.txt.)
WE've also turned on all the necessary auth_db lines in the ser.cfg
Also attached is the ngrep capture of the register, 404 fail, register w/ digest, and 404 fail again... (notworking.txt).
Thanks!
Dave
