I was wondering myself juste a little question : is that possible to
redirect a call using data stored in mysql tables as location table or
subscriber table or is that only possible using script code?
Thanks you for the answer...
Hello world,
i´m using SER version -0.8.14 in one linux Slackware10.0
I have the problem: ERROR: receive_msg: no mem for sip_msg

I have read the Email-List and i found the Email from 11/18/04
between Daniel and Andrei
The solution was to compile the source code.
Do: make proper include_modules="mysql"; make; make modules
include_modules="mysql"; make install include_modules="mysql". Then try
again.
My problem is, that i don´t know how to compile the code in my distribution,
i followed the steps:
uncompress the source ser-0.8.14_src.tar.gz in the directory /ser-0.8-14
and then
make proper include_modules="mysql"; make; make modules
include_modules="mysql"; make install include_modules="mysql".
But the Error-Output was:

Can somebody help me?
Thanks

Your right, I must have been tired when I thought it was working. This doesn't work unless there's something that has to be done with branches additionally

It's just the way that t_register works, if you call t_relay_to more
than once the same error will occur... It's quite messy, you probably
have to use append_branch like;
save("location");
rewritehostport("ser2.domain.com:5060");
append_branch();
rewritehostport("ser3.domain.com:5060");
append_branch();
t_replicate("ser4.domain.com:5060");
I haven't tested this but the logic should work since the t_replicate
function just calls t_relay_to. Also, you'll probably want to use
save_noreply() on the hosts processing the replicated register messages
otherwise the host replicating the register will spew errors. Like I
said, messy.
You could probably do it more elegantly using avpops similar to the
trusted ip example in the docs.

Hi guys
I have a strange problem and i tried to work on that without any
success, so i need yours help
i installed ser, freeradius-1.0.2, radiusclient-0.4.8.
I am trying to authenticate ser users through radius (mysql).
inside my ser.cfg
-------------------------------------------
if (method=="REGISTER")
{
log(1, "REGISTER: Authenticating user\n");
if (!radius_www_authorize(""))
{
log(1, "REGISTER: challenging user\n");
www_challenge("", "0");
break;
};
#setflag(1);
save("location");
sl_send_reply("200","ok");
break;
};
------------------------------------------------------------------
the problem that i don't see any requests coming to the radius
server.
i checked the freeradius installation with "radtest" and it's working
correctly (the authentication is going through the mysql ).
also checked with radtest from different host and it's working ,but when it's coming to ser on localhost, i can't see anything happens in the radius.
furthermore i know it's going inside this "if" because i can see the logs and i see the "REGISTER:challenging user" message.
the only problem what i don't see anything at radius log. it's seems like radiusclient from ser not talking to the radius server, can it be any "version" problem ??
Thank you guys for any help.

Hi
I was looking through the doc, and wanted to know do I need to lines
64,65 and 84 (page 30)
In line 64 I am testing for client_nat(3) and INVITE and then adding
record_route_preset header
then in the loose_route section I am checking again for INVITE
nat_test(3) and seeing og nat=yes is added to route line, and then
setting the flag = 6, can I not just do this in line 65, i.e set the
flag above, and then in 84 say something like
if isflagset(6) use mediaproxy
Iqbal
I checked that and the path is correct.
any other suggestions.
Thanks.

Hi,
I had the same problem. The cause was that ser was not using
the correct radiusclient.conf. It was looking for the
file in the ser configuration directory.
Make sure that the ser.cfg points to the correct location.
Something like the following would do:
modparam("auth_radius", "radius_config",
"/usr/local/etc/radiusclient/radiusclient.conf")
modparam("auth_radius", "service_type", 15)

Hi
I made the changes as per your posts. This is the message I still see in my
server logs.
Apr 7 11:45:15 altcall2 /usr/local/sbin/ser[1614]: ERROR: ul_add: flags

Hi Lada,
I have tested it with video conferencing and IMs. It's
nice experience. Unfortunately it can only be worked
with the ineen servers.
