Hi, I compiled and installed it but I get errors
relating to "table version#" when I start ser. I
checked and it was complaining about "aliases' table
version#. But the "aliases" table is NOT being created
by the database creation script.
Any suggestions wheter I need the "aliases" table? If
yes, where do I get the schema and version # for it?
THanks

In PDT module I look the prefix, and I change or add domain. But doc don´t
speak if I have two domains by one prefix, and I need this options. Does
some know if I have one prefix to 2 domains, Could I to do parallel fork to
domains?
I've installed ser 0.9.4 on Suse 10 and it's running with mysql.
I can register users (I'm using serweb) but I can only make a call from a
user inside the Lan (where ser is installed) to a user outside behind a Nat
(Fastweb network in Italy, Natted). If i call from this user behind Nat the
call does not reach the other user. Viceversa it works fine.
I installed the nathelper module and rtpproxy too.
I don't know if I configured it well . Have I got to open some additional
port in my router on the lan where ser is running (I opened port 5060 udp
and tcp only)?
I've tried to use Asterix on another pc in the same lan and I don't have
this kind of problems with the some users and some clients (3cx phone).
Any suggestions ?
thanks
HI Friends,
Yesterday I had given a public ip to my linux box and trying to
test calls .so, in order to register the users i made the command
serctl ul add <username/userid> <username@domain> like this i had added two
of my friends names to the location table , but i asked one of my friend to
download xten softphone and make configure but i cannot see his registration
request and also he tried to make call in xten to another person it is
showing call not approved both of my friends are behind NAT , but i used
mediaproxy to run along with ser mediaproxy.so module and in ser.cfg it also
shows that mediaproxy is from /var/run/mediaproxysocket . there is socket
really exists in /var/run. And my mediaproxy is running on ip:port
81.21.33.35:25060 and i dont know whats going wrong
Can any body please help me in making test calls , using media proxy
Thanks in advance.
With regards,
Ravi.
Hi all,
is there a command in ser comparable to
"lookup("<table>")" for the called party for the
calling party?
I would like to now if the calling party is already
registered/known(alias-table) at my ser without
lancing an authorization procedure with
*_authorize("<realm>","<table>").
Thanks
Thorsten

Hi all,
I recieve the following warning messages when loadinf up ser:
WARNING: fix_socket_list: could not rev. resolve xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Is this something to worry about?
Also I am able to connect to ser internally but not via it's external address. I have rtpproxy installed and I'm using the nathelper module. Not sure if they are configured correctly but they seem to be running.
My client is behing NAT but my server is publically available. Does anyone have any ideas or could you tell me the best way to debug? for example can I moniter registration requests coming in?
Regards,
Luke.
I just did a removal of 0.9.5 and installed 1.0.1 for RH from RPM. My
problem is that the /etc/init.d doesn't work.
I get errors for lines 63, 69, 105 : -start-stop-daemon command not found.
This is a debian command? Should this also work for RH?
Docs also say sample /etc/init.d config file should be at
/usr/local/src/openser-1.0.1/sip-server/etc/openser.init ,but /usr/local/src
is empty. whereis openser only returns a config file and a folder with
modules.
I searched the internet but can't find a posting of a working script, just
references to the script.
