I was lazy and just recompiled the debian package (and added the mysql
to the accounting modules Makefile)
Make deb will do the job although I think I had to add a package or two
for the compile to suceed. I can put the .deb from that somewhere if you
like.

Hi all!
The ser-mysql-module_0.9.6-0.1_i386.deb package doesn't work since it
depends on 'libmysqlclient15' Debian package which has recently been
replaced by 'libmysqlclient15off'.
Any ideas?!??
Thank you!

Hi Aaron,
Thanks for your effort to help me, but;
First link didn't help because I don't have fixed port range configured.
Second link doesn't have any information on how to make SIP account option appear.
:(
Thanks,
ilker

here's a microsoft article that speaks of a scenario where something causes the sip accounts option to disappear and how to fix it
....if the one above doesn't work here's something else i found....
http://www2.slac.stanford.edu/comp/messaging/Installing/instant_messaging_s…
i wonder if this will help. also it shows entering a password at some point in these pictures. i'm not sure about how to authenticate the wm client with a sip proxy

Anyway, I think it doesn't support authorization, does it ?
Thanks,

Hi All
I have an snmp script that calls mediaproxy's python program called
sessions.py and should return the number of active calls in the mediaproxy
server. The script works when I call it from a ssh session but it returns
"Cannot connect to RTP proxy control port" when I run it from the snmp
agent. I've tried all the sessions.py "options" and nothing works.
Mediaproxy version is 1.4.2
Does anyone have any ideas.
BTW the script works fine on an older version of mediaproxy on another
machine works. Version 1.2.1
Thanks

hi there
we got a weird problem on our ser when dealing with multiple media
descriptions in SDP packets:
the INVITE comes from a SIP-enabled TDM-switch and looks like that
(notice 3(!) different media descriptions, but pointing to the same
port):
(just media-descriptions shown for brevity):
Media Description, name and address (m): audio 17728 RTP/
AVP 0 8 4 18 2 101
Media Attribute (a): fmtp:101 0-15
Media Attribute (a): rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000
Media Description, name and address (m): audio 17728 RTP/
AVP 97
Media Attribute (a): rtpmap:97 /8000
Media Attribute (a): sendonly
Media Description, name and address (m): audio 17728 RTP/
AVP 97
Media Attribute (a): rtpmap:97 /8000
Media Attribute (a): recvonly
when the SER receives this packet it looks up the client (b-number)
and recognizes it is behind a NAT - so mediaproxy stuff is done
(notice SER/mediaproxy generating 3(!) different(!) ports for the
media-descriptions):
(same brevity here):
Media Description, name and address (m): audio 16014 RTP/
AVP 0 8 4 18 2 101
Media Attribute (a): fmtp:101 0-15
Media Attribute (a): rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000
Media Description, name and address (m): audio 16016 RTP/
AVP 97
Media Attribute (a): rtpmap:97 /8000
Media Attribute (a): sendonly
Media Description, name and address (m): audio 16018 RTP/
AVP 97
Media Attribute (a): rtpmap:97 /8000
Media Attribute (a): recvonly
the client (a sipura 2100/1001) now sends media to the last specified
port (16018 in our case) while the audio from the switch goes to
16014 - resulting in mediaproxy not being able to connect the two of
them ... and we sit there with neither in- nor outbound audio ...
how do i get mediaproxy/SER to send only one port to the client, just
like the switch initially did?
any clues?
